In Zafer Tekstil factory in Antep, workers started a wildcat strike on 2 February 2022 by gathering at the entrances and exits of the factory on 2 February 2022, demanding 5,500-TL per month, after the wage increase was announced as 4,840-TL per month. The strike was ended when the factory management announced that the problem would be resolved by Friday, 4 February. At the end of the process, workers' wages were raised to 5,500 TL. The Zafer Tekstil strike was the first strike in the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the ‘Weaving, garment and leather’ sector.
