University Hospitals

In response to the ‘New Supplementary Payment Regulation’ announced by the Ministry of Health under the name of ‘White Reform’, resident physicians working in university hospitals held a two-day wildcat strike across Turkey on September 15-16, 2022.

As far as we were able to determine from press and social media channels, the strike took place in university hospitals in 11 cities including Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, Manisa, Mersin, Mersin and Trabzon.
