Mersin Transportation Workers

On May 28, 2022, house transportation workers in Mersin started a wildcat strike demanding a wage increase. As a result of the negotiations, the workers' demands were accepted and the strike ended on May 29 with an agreement on 1750 TL for out of province, 1400 TL for Adana-Silifke, 100 TL for floor difference, and extra 100 TL for the drivers.
