Mem-Fa Textile

Workers at Mem-Fa Textile in Antep went on a wildcat strike on 14 February 2022 demanding an increase in their wages, which remained at the minimum wage level. As a result of the one-day strike, workers returned to work without any change in their wages. The Mem-Fa Textile strike was part of the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the ‘Weaving, garment and leather’ sector.
