Hopa Port Management

Workers at the Hopa Port Management in Hopa district of Artvin, found the wage increase insufficient and started a wildcat strike on 4 February 2022. After the boss said that he would evaluate the demands, the workers ended the strike on the same day, saying that they would strike again if their demands were not meet. On 7 February, as a result of the negotiations with the boss, an agreement was reached to determine the raises in January, to increase the meal fees to 36 TL, which the boss proposed 22 TL, and to increase the wages by 40% instead of the 15-20% increase proposed by the boss.
