Family Health Centers (February 2022)

Family physicians and family health center workers, with the call of the Federation of Family Physicians Associations, held a two-day wildcat strike on February 17-18, 2022, demanding the withdrawal of the Family Medicine Contract and Payment Regulation and the improvement of their personal rights on the grounds that the Regulation causes losses in their personal rights and eliminates job security. Health workers from Ankara, Istanbul, Antalya, Edirne, Adana, Hatay, Izmir, Muğla, Mersin and Adıyaman participated in the strike, which was supported by organizations including the Health Workers' Union and Medical Chambers. The health workers' demand for the regulation to be withdrawn was not met.
