Approximately 1,600 workers employed at Balcalı Hospital, part of Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in Adana, staged a one-day wildcat strike on September 24, 2025, in protest against the university administration's decision to pay the accumulated collective bargaining agreement differences in installments over eight months.
