Çukurova Agricultural Workers

Agricultural workers in the Doğankent District of Adana began a wildcat strike on September 20, 2025, demanding a daily wage of 1,500 TL. Following Adana, tens of thousands of agricultural workers in Mersin and Hatay also went on wildcat strike on September 28, demanding that daily wages be raised from 900 TL to 1,500 TL. The strike ended on October 6 after it was agreed that daily wages would be 1,200 TL between October 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, and 1,500 TL between January 1, 2026, and August 1, 2026.
