Adapak Packaging

Workers at the Adapak Packaging factory in Antep started a wildcat strike on 10 February 2022 demanding a net wage of 5500 TL and 300 TL attendance bonus against the boss's wage offer of 4800 TL including bonuses. While all three shifts stopped work, production stopped in the factory. The workers also demanded that all their salaries be deposited in the bank, opposing the handing over of the minimum wage surplus. The workers ended the strike on 11 February without any gains. The Adapak Packaging strike was part of a wave of strikes in Antep in 2022, mainly in the "Weaving, garment and leather" sector.
