Workers at the 3Teks Medical Textile factory in Antep Başpınar OSB went on a wildcat strike on 19 February 2022, demanding a wage of at least 5000 TL, seniority difference and bonuses on two holidays, rejecting the raise offered by the boss. After two days of strike, the workers returned to work with an additional 50 TL raise. Seven workers who took part in the strike were fired without compensation. 3Teks Medikal Textile strike was part of the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the "Weaving, garment and leather" branch of labour.
