Volder Leather workers in Çorlu Leather Mixed Organised Industrial Zone in Ergene district of Tekirdağ started a partial wildcat strike by slowing down work on 8 February 2022 against the low wages declared by the boss. As a result of their 2-day strike, the boss agreed to give the workers an additional 500 TL raise. Thus, workers' wages were increased by 50% for the year 2022.
