Kangal Thermal Power Plant

Workers at the Kangal Thermal Power Plant in Sivas started a wildcat strike at 16.00 on July 18, 2022, demanding an additional raise due to the erosion of their wages in the face of high inflation. Workers on the night shift also joined the strike by refusing to go to work. The strike ended on July 29 with an agreement reached between TES-İŞ, of which the workers are members, and the company management.
