Izmir Bayraklı City Hospital (October 2022) (2)

Workers at the İzmir Bayraklı City Hospital construction site started a wildcat strike on October 25, 2022, demanding the removal of mandatory overtime and payment of unpaid wages. During the strike, 18 workers were detained by the police and were not allowed to return to the camp after their release. As a result of this, the workers continued their action at the camp site. Following negotiations, the strike ended on October 26 after the workers' demands were accepted.
