Beşiktaş Municipality (October 2022)

Workers employed by the subcontractor firm Barka Atık Yönetim, which provides services to the Beşiktaş Municipality Support Services Directorate, started a wildcat strike on October 29, 2022, demanding improved working conditions and regular payment of wages. The strike ended on the same day without any gains, as the workers' employment contracts were terminated.
