Istanbul Finance Center Central Bank Construction Site (April 2025)

Workers at the construction site of the Central Bank of Istanbul Finance Centre started a wildcat strike on 15 April 2025 due to the long-standing non-payment of their wages. As a result of the negotiations with the company officials, the strike ended on the same day with the agreement that the wages for February would be paid the next day at the latest and the wages for March on the 25th. However, as the promises were not kept, on April 28, 2025, the workers once again staged a wildcat strike. The strike was ended with the promise that payments would be made on weekdays.
