Grand Carpet

The workers at the Grand Halı factory in Antep started a wildcat strike on 4 February 2022, finding the monthly wages of 4250 TL to 5250 TL in the garment department and 5425 TL in the shipping department insufficient for the year 2022. The one-day strike ended without any gains. The Grand Carpet strike is included in the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the ‘Weaving, garment and leather’ sector.
