Çağdaş Socks

Workers at Çağdaş Socks in İkitelli OSB started a wildcat strike on 4 February 2022, demanding a wage of 7000 TL for 2022. The strike was ended on 5 February after the demands of workers were accepted.
The Çağdaş Socks strike was part of a wave of strikes in sock factories in Beylikdüzü, Arnavutköy, Bayrampaşa, Güngören, İkitelli, Avcılar and Esenyurt districts of Istanbul. In these strikes, the Deriteks trade union has contributed at the level of guidance and solidarity.
