Bossan Carpet

In the weaving department of Bossan Carpet in Antep, the workers who did not accept the boss's monthly wage of 6250 TL for halves and 4.800 TL for çağcıs, stopped production and started a wildcat strike. At the end of the strike, which lasted for an hour, after negotiations with the boss, the workers went back to work without an increase in the raise rate and ended the strike. The Bossan Carpet strike was part of the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the ‘Weaving, garment and leather’ labour sector.
