Atlantik Carpet

Atlantik Carpet workers in Antep did not accept the announced wage increases and started a wildcat strike on 18 February 2022 by stopping work during the night shift. After an hour-long strike, the workers ended the strike and went back to work as a result of an increase of 100 TL in their salaries. The Atlantik Carpet strike was part of the wave of strikes that took place in Antep in 2022, mainly in the ‘Weaving, garment and leather’ sector.
