Yildiz Technical University Cafeteria

Cafeteria workers of a subcontractor company affiliated to Yıldız Technical University held a wildcat strike on 11 April 2022 due to unpaid overtime and wage cuts. Supported by university students, Yıldız Technical University cafeteria workers said that their wages were deducted during the 3-day snow holiday and their overtime had not been paid for a long time. After receiving a promise from the Rector of the University Tamer Yılmaz to meet with the subcontractor company, the workers ended the strike.
