Workers at Uluğ Energy Distribution Inc., which provides electricity and retail distribution services in the provinces of Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, and Yalova, staged a one-day wildcat strike on March 30, 2023, after collective bargaining negotiations—which had been ongoing since March 2022—failed to reach a resolution.
