Public Oral and Dental Health Units (July 2025)

Dentists working in public oral and dental health units staged a wildcat strike on July 31 and August 1, 2025, protesting harsh working conditions, insufficient employment, violence in healthcare, and wages below the poverty line.

As far as we could determine from press and social media channels, the strike was participated in at least 11 cities, including Ankara, Antalya, Batman, Denizli, Istanbul, Izmir, Kars, Mugla, Sakarya, Tekirdag, and Urfa.
