Prem Socks

Workers at Prem Socks in Beylikdüzü, who did not accept the boss's wage offer of 6200 TL for 2022, started a wildcat strike on 4 February 2022. After the negotiations, the strike was ended by reaching an agreement on the conditions that the wage would be 6750 TL and regulated as 7000 TL in the interim increase.
The Prem Socks strike was part of a wave of strikes in sock factories in Beylikdüzü, Arnavutköy, Bayrampaşa, Güngören, İkitelli, Avcılar and Esenyurt districts of Istanbul. In these strikes, the Deriteks trade union has contributed at the level of guidance and solidarity.
