Pendik Municipality

Cleaning workers employed by Pendik Municipality in Istanbul started a wildcat strike on November 2, 2022, demanding wage increases in line with inflation and a 40-hour work week. The strike ended without any gains on November 3, following the dismissal of nine workers who had been elected as representatives.
