Mata Automotive

Workers at the Mata Automotive factory in Istanbul's Tuzla district started a wildcat strike on February 27, 2023, demanding a 25% raise on top of their hourly wage of 49 TL and better working conditions. The strike ended on March 20 without any gains after a total of 620 workers were fired.
