Has Çuval workers in Antep rejected the boss's 30 percent wage hike for 2025 and started a wildcat strike on the night shift on February 11, 2025. After the strikes spread to many factories in Antep and the workers decided to take a joint action, the governorate issued an action ban on February 13. After the governorate's ban, the tents set up by the workers in front of the factory were dismantled and the workers were removed. However, the majority of Has Çuval workers did not immediately go back to work despite the ban and continued the wildcat strike for two more days. However, with the majority of workers returning to work and the termination of at least 90 workers, the strike ended on February 15 without any gains.
