Etiler Mandarin Oriental Construction Site

Workers at the Etiler Mandarin Oriental Construction Site in Istanbul started a wildcat strike on October 10, 2025, demanding improvements to housing, food, and service issues at their camp, which remained unresolved despite complaints, as well as mandatory long working hours and poor working conditions. Following negotiations, the strike ended the same day after an agreement was reached to take concrete steps to resolve the issues.
