Workers at Çelikaslan Tekstil, located in the Başpınar Organized Industrial Zone in Antep, started a wildcat strike on February 9, 2025 night shift demanding a 50 percent raise against the boss's imposition of a 30 percent wage increase. After the strikes spread to many factories in Antep and workers decided to organize a joint action, the governor's office issued a ban on February 13. After the ban, strikes continued in some workplaces. However, there is no information in the press and social media channels about when and how the strike at Çelikaslan Textile ended.
