Buca Municipality (June 2025)

Workers at the Buca Municipality in Izmir started a wildcat strike on June 18, 2025 due to the non-payment of their April and May salaries, two food cards, collective bargaining differences and overtime wages. The strike ended on June 26 after negotiations between the Genel-İş Union and municipal authorities reached an agreement on payments.
