Bingöl Bakery Workers (January 2023)

Bakery workers in Bingöl staged a wildcat strike on 23 January 2023 demanding an increase in wages, the right to rest one day a week, insurance for all workers, an end to unregistered and precarious work, and the right to work 45 hours a week. The workers announced their demands with a press statement in front of the Clock Tower. Some of the demands of the workers were accepted. However, the workers started wildcat strike once again on 1 February 2023, demanding an end to the pressures and acceptance of all demands.
