Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant Construction (Aydıner) August 2022

On August 23, 2022, workers at the construction site of Mersin Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant under Aydıner Construction Company staged a wildcat strike because they were given a 15% raise while the workers of other companies were given a 35% raise. Around 500 workers who participated in the strike were dismissed after the strike.
